I am a Dutch native speaker who just loves languages. I write novels.
First, at school of course, I read English, German and French. Thereafter I began reading English and French literature to keep up to date. Due to German television programmes that we watch here in the east of Holland near the border, I speak and read German easily.
I tavelled a lot, spoke English and French regularly and worked in various jobs that needed a knowledge of German and English. The last jobs I had: receptionist in an international student hotel; customer agent for English, French, Dutch and German clients in order to help them program their universal remote controls; customer agent for a French fashionhouse, where I spoke and mailed with clients in German and French.
I did a translationjob for a holiday agency and translated the description of holiday homes from German to Dutch. This job took a few months.
Although I am not a certified translator, I'm sure I can do a good job.
My natural interest for languages makes it a pleasure to solve the puzzle of a text which has to be translated as correct as possible.
