I am a member of the American Translators Association, certified by ATA for English into Spanish translation.

I have been working as freelance translator since 1999, translating from both English and Swedish into Spanish (European or Argentinean). Although I specialize in nutrition, religion and tourism, together with alternative healing systems, I have also translated many manuals (DVD, TV, refrigerators), advertisements, press notes, sailing, and food industry. As for me, I have a Swedish father and Spanish/Argentinean mother. I live in Spain (Palma de Mallorca) but studied until age 18 in Swedish (in Scandinavian Schools in Spain) specializing in natural sciences. Then I studied dramaturgy at RESAD in Spanish, which involves writing and adapting plays, doing critique and research. I studied nutrition in Spain. I hold a BA from Brigham Young University in Utah (USA) in Linguistics with a minor in Scandinavian Studies, graduating with University Honors and Cum Laude.
I have therefore had formal education in the three languages I translate. Besides, I speak French, Italian, and German, and have reading skills in Biblical Hebrew.

Swedish into Spanish: 12 cents per source word

I work with SDL Trados Studio 2011. I have the full Office 2010 Professional (including Publisher).
