Since 1990 I have worked as a freelance translator and interpreter – 21 different clients so far in 2009, 10 most important of them: Dora Wirth Languages (London), Transperfect Translations (USA), Machielsen Vertaligen (Netherlands), Käännöstalo Mester (Finland), Blue Lines (Belgium), Estonian Association of Interpreters and Translators, RWS Group (London), Paikre OÜ, Pärnu College of the University of Tartu and zeitgeist communications and language services (UK). Main fields of expertise: pharmaceutical, legal, EU documents, economics, business, accounting, medicine.
I have translated 16 books from English into Estonian, mainly textbooks of economics, but also spiritual books and books on health; 6 from Estonian into English.
1994-2001 I worked part-time for the Pärnu Institute of Health Resort Treatment and Medical Rehabilitation, translating research articles and documents. I am a trusted translator and interpreter for the public notaries of Pärnu, and a founder-member of the Estonian Association of Interpreters and Translators.
February - May 2000 - full time translator of the Estonian Legal Language Centre.
