Hello,

I obtained a Bachelor¿s Degree in Combined Honours English and French from the University of Yaounde I in 2009 and a Master of Arts in Translation (Second Class Upper Division) from the Higher Institute of Translators and Interpreters of Yaounde in 2011. I have four years of experience as a translator.

I have an excellent mastery of written English and French. Thus, I translate from English into French and from French into English. My experience as a freelance translator, editor and in-house translator in public service and in a private translation agency has sharpened my translation skills and ability to work in a team context. Moreover, I always deliver my translations on time.

I translate 2000 words per day. I have handled so many translation projects from around the world. The texts to be translated were from various fields, notably general and specialized fields. Regarding general fields, I have translated advertising inserts, curricula vitae, historical documents, news articles and press releases.

Concerning specialized fields, I have translated briefing documents, instructions leaflets, presentations, products¿ labels, safety data sheets, technical reports, theses¿ abstracts, user¿s manuals for various appliances and websites¿ contents.

Besides, I use state-of-the-art translation tools to overcome the barriers of time and quality. Hence, SDL Trados Studio 2009 is my favourite tool because of its project and terminology management options as well as online resources.
