As secretary in Pfizer Laboratories Argentina in the past (4 years), and Hospital Clinic Barcelona (8 years), and later teaching English and translation to Engineers for the last 6 years, I have devoted 70% of my working time to proofreading, translation and transcreation of scientific texts. I have developed a passion for accurate meaning and a reliable skill for scientific medical and technical translation over the years. I started translating at college, mainly in the areas of medical and scientific work, as extra minor income, but it is becoming an increasingly important source, growing in personal enthusiasm. As freelance translator, compliance with deadlines and accuracy and efficiency in language choice to properly translate or transcreate is a must, in order to guarantee a reliable target text, in meaning and effect.
