CAREER
EXPERIENCE: I am currently working as a Language Line Interpreter for a major telecommunications firm. I have interpreted simultaneously for criminal arraignment hearings, Immigration and Naturalization hearings, medical examinations and emergencies, police and fire emergencies, insurance depositions. I have interpreted for the juvenile court of San Bernardino County, Riverside County court, Fontana Superior court and Los Angeles INS Court.
I am a court-approved interpreter for several federal courts.
I have interpreted for the Los Angeles Times and Disney Land. I appeared in front of the news media and helped to present a new attraction for Disney Land.
I have received work from numerous translation agencies covering a wide range of subjects. For example: Department of Justice documents, court affidavits, newspaper articles, etc.

I was the primary technical translator and interpreter for the Engineering and Technical unit.
RESOURCES: I have several Albanian/English dictionaries and some rare Albanian/English electronic reference books. I have a PC with Windows ME as an operating system. I use WordPerfect version 8.0 as well as MS Word 2000, Trados 5.0 as my standard for translation, but have the ability to use any other format desired. I am able to send my work as a file by modem, E-mail, floppy-disc or hard copy.
PERSONAL: I am a native Albanian speaker. I moved to United States in 1995 with my husband, a native English speaker. I am a US citizen with a security clearance from a federal law enforcement agency.
