2009-2012: Demurrage Analyst at LyondellBasell Chemicals:
Responsible for accurate and timely review, negotiation, settlement of demurrage claim activities associated with marine voyages avoiding all time bars in filing and or rebilling demurrage claims while maintaining compliance with all corporate policies and values; provides direct support to Supply and Trading, through training and guidance on demurrage matters, reviewing and optimizing contract language in respect Demurrage and Marine operations; supports vessel delay reduction efforts across company functions and locations and drives continuous improvement through analysis, reporting, proactive process improvement, contract content management, and train to mitigate demurrage and delay exposure and maximize demurrage recovery. This gave me lots of experience about legal and contracts.
2008-2009: Marine Coordinator at LyondellBasell Chemicals:
Taking care of the logistics for vessels and barges mainly dealing with imports, acetyls and fuels.
I was in charge of coordinating the marine transportation of materials in the most efficient and profitable manner and of promotingCustomer Service and Relations. 2004-2008: Customer Support for Italian and French customers and SAP SuperUser at LyondellBasell Chemicals. This experience gave me a wide background of the marine word and logistics.
2004-2008: Customer Support at LyondellBasell Chemicals:
I worked as CSR for the Italian and French customers. I was organizing the transport of chemicals by truck, intermodal or train. That is why I have a big knowledge of the logistics and business word. On top of that I was awarded SAP Super User and I was also in charge of editing the OnDemand manual in SAP from American English into “European” English. I was also SME (Subject Matter Expert) for our internal website and trained both my customers and colleagues about how to use it. I edited and reviewed our internal procedure manual.
2002-2004: Customer Representative supporting and training Testing Centers for online examinations at Pearson VUE:
My position involved training and supporting our Testing Centers located in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East, Africa) providing a high level of customer service. I was also dealing with all kind of translations (from technical to marketing), interpreting during conference calls and software training, training the new administrators of the testing centres, etc… in English, French and Italian.
2000-2002: CSR for Italian and French customers at Hyperion Solutions:
The primary responsibility was to be the initial contact for all incoming inquiries from French, English and Italian speaking customers world-wide. Therefore I had to deal with all kind of accents and slang. I was in charge of technical translations related to the Hyperion applications and of supporting the consultants. Here I learned a lot about computers and business.
1999: Cabin Attendant for Transavia Airlines: though short, this experience helped me to acquire a good knowledge of aviation and airport world.
