Health researcher and associate editor of the “Plain Cochrane” project summarising and simplifying complex medical systematic reviews published by the Cochrane Collaboration, creating a user-friendly database for health professionals and patients.
Researching, preparing and writing “Patients’ Reports” using rigorous search methods, and appraisal processes to establish the best available research evidence.n Identifying the best medical papers in key topic areas using a variety of specialist information sources such as Medline, Cochrane library and other medical journalsn
Transforming selected papers into Critically Appraised Topics (CATs) using specific epidemiological statistical methods to assess the validity of the research and to present the findings as a concise one-page summary. The work continued towards the publication of a new medical textbook – Acute Medicine: Evidence-based On Call.

Research Associate to Dr John Davis the Warden (president) of All Souls College, Oxford University. Duties included mainly translating a large volume of legal documents, mainly marriage and divorce ones, from Arabic into English for a research project.

The Company worked as an intermediary between Syrian national companies and foreign companies bidding for work in Syria. Daily duties involved translating all correspondence, technical brochures, contracts, invoices and any other documents that needed passing from one party to another.
Duties also included the management of the daily schedule of the company’s general manager as well as accompanying him to his meetings and acting as an interpreter for foreign businessmen visiting our local clients or holding meetings with our company.
