I am professional translator based in the Netherlands. My native language is Turkish. I provide translation services from English and Dutch into Turkish and proofreading/editing/transcription services in Turkish. I have MA degrees in American Studies (Radboud University, the Netherlands) and International Relations (Bilgi University, Turkey).
After I worked for booking.com for around 2 years as full-time in-office translator/proofreader, I started as freelancer. I have a lot of experience in web pages, marketing material, manuals, official reports, brochures, newsletters etc.
My interest areas are, but not limited to: Advertising, Art, Aviation, Broadcast Journalism, Ecology, Economics, Education, Ethnic and Cultural Studies, History, Internet, Journalism and Mass Communication, Marketing, Music, Political Science, Religion and Religious Studies, Tourism and Travel, Refinery and Refining, Safety Regulations. In general, I am capable of translating almost everything, unless it is too technical.
