Born in 1966 in Munich, I am a German translator, offering translation and proofreading for EN>DE and FR>DE.
I am holding a degree in Social/Political Science (Diplom-Sozialwissenschaftler i.d.F. Politische Wissenschaft), including minors in Economics and Law from the Gerhard Mercator University of Duisburg.
Since 2007, I have been working as a freelance translator (EN>DE and FR>DE), covering an increasingly wide range of issues: from legal agreements to medical studies, product information, technical manuals, financial issues, hotel reviews, and website localization. Along with my activity as a freelance translator, I am working as a free author and publisher.
I accept jobs directly from the client, but I am also working with traditional as well as cloud based translation agencies, receiving extraordinarily high internal and customer ratings.
Pricing / Other services
My standard word rate is 0.08 EUR for translation and 0.04 EUR for proofreading.
A lower or higher price may be agreed upon, depending on the amount of work required (extraordinarily simple/difficult source text, research, formatting etc.).
