Became Head of Afrikaans Translation and Editing at the National Language Service, South African national Department of Arts and Culture in 2001. Term has ended 31 March 2004.
Specialist in legal translations re. all spheres of government, including primary and secondary legislation, international agreements/conventions.
Also non-legal translation, i.e. translation of LITERATURE (poetry and fiction), ACADEMIC writing, etc.
