Career / Experience

In 1984 I obtained my certificate for translator from the Higher Institute for Translators and Interpreters in Antwerp, Belgium.
Since then, I have been translating freelance on and off, but I have also worked in Quality Assurance departments of international companies like Hero and Tyco Valves & Controls, where I was in charge of documentation and certificates.
Since 2012 I have my own publishing company called ClusterEffect. At the moment my partner does most of the work in the publishing company so I can finally dedicate myself to translating.

   Pricing / Other services

Translations:
from English to Dutch: 0,07 eurocent/word
from Portuguese to Dutch: 0,08 eurocent/word

Proofreading: 10 euros/hour.

For large assignments the tariffs are negotiable, so contact me.

For books and stories, I can also offer translations from Dutch to English, in collaborotion with professional editor whose mother tongue is English.
