I have agrégation d'anglais, and a PHD in American literature. I specialized in contemporary American literature. I have taught translation, American literature and civilisation at university for twenty years (Valenciennes, Toulouse II le Mirail and now Bordeaux III Agen) and I wrote a book on Paul Auster. I taught American literature and English writing at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee. I translate literature, movie scripts, theatre plays, social sciences, economy, philosophy. I have taken part in many creative writing projects, mostly around drama. I have translated about twenty books so far, mostly from English to French, and sometimes from French to English.
