Worked as a thin-film and diffusion line foreman for Harris Semiconductor (IC chip manufacturer).
Translated the entire 706-page 2nd English edition of the Bosch Automotive Handbook published in 1986, and translated a number of smaller Bosh booklets covering every major automotive system.
Have worked on a continual basis for over 20 years for the Siemens power generation subsidiary (Siemens PG) as well as for their former U.S. subsidiary Siemens Power Corporation (SPC), and have a wealth of experience in most of the associated fields (nuclear/conventional/wind/hydraulic/geothermal power generation, power plant operation, plant licensing procedures, turbine/generator/reactor design and repair, nuclear power plant design specifications, materials testing, fuel management and nuclear fuel reprocessing, civil and structural engineering, instrumentation and control, remote plant and system diagnosis, hardware design, software manuals, etc.).
BASIC programmer for more than 20 years; learning C/C++. Authored a terminology management suite in 1983 for the Radio Shack Color Computer before the advent of Trados Workbench, Transit, Déjà Vu, etc.
