Since the mid 1990s, I have translated short and more extensive texts, both informal and formal, for private persons as well as for organisations and companies.
My native language is Swedish, but my knowledge of Finnish and English is excellent, too, and I've studied on university level in all three languages. The topics that I know the best are Geography, IT, Futures Studies, and Science in general.
Overall, languages are a passion of mine-- I've also studied German and Spanish, and to a lesser extent Hindi, Russian and Swahili. However, translating to or from these languages is not really on the agenda yet... ;)

   Pricing / Other services

For shorter texts, my basic pricing is 0,17 e/word (from Swedish and Finnish) and 0,16 e/word (from English). For longer translations, a lower price per word or a lump sum can be negotiated. Hourly rates are also possible.

I prefer direct payment to my bank account, no cheques accepted.
