Professional qualification: Economist (Ph.D. of the University of Economics, Budapest) specialized in international trade and finance

Professional experience: I had been working during 15 years as a research fellow in a market research institute in Budapest. I prepared market reports and analyses, price forecasts for agricultural and industrial commodities, industrial and marketing strategy papers. I participated in the commodities’ working group of the AIECE, an international organization of European economic research institutes.

I had been translating country reports for the Economist Intelligence Unit from English to Hungarian.

Now I am freelance translator. My subject areas include general business translations (economics, banking, finance, communication, marketing) and literary translations (Hungarian authors’ works with the intention of publishing them in French).
