I am a female Cameroonian who graduated from the Advanced School of Translation and Interpretation.I began translating for the public while in school.I have been part of a translation team that has translated a religious book from french into English,Les reponses contre l'eglise catholique that has sold more than the original version.
I have also translated the Standard Operating Procedures for the Gates Malaria Partnership,Cameroon which is sponsored by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and the Case Record Form for research on malaria.
I am also the secretary and translator for the 4th Pan-African Conference on Malaria, MIM, whose secretariat is found in Yaounde, Cameroon and the conference will hold in November 2005.
Having left school about a year, I have translated the Student Guide for the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Yaounde II, Cameroon from French in to English. This translation has gone a long way to ease the comprehension by English-speaking students who need to be well-orientated on the courses offered.
In the office where i work, i do jobs for the I.A.E.A and the W.H.O because my boss is a consultant for these offices. Apart from the above i have done other translations for individuals.
I am currently drawing an English/French lexicon on malaria which will be used by the interprters during the conference earlier mentioned.
