Translation, interpretation and localization specialists based in Berlin.

My name is Jairo Dorado Cadilla and I am a bilingual Spanish and Galician native translator and interpreter. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpretation studies and a DAS in Translation and Paratranslation, both from the Univeristy of Vigo.

I have been translating professionally for more than 10 years general, technical, medical, legal, genetics and forensic sciences related documents from English, German, Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, Slovene and Portuguese into Spanish and Galician. Besides, I provide simultaneous & consecutive interpretation services from English, Portuguese, German, Slovene, Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian into Spanish and Galician.

My working experience is both as a freelance and in-House for the ICMP (International Commission on Missing Persons).

I also have been appointed as court translator and interpreter for Galician and English.

Localizing, proofreading and testing web site content, specially in e-commerce and interactive, social media-oriented tourism sites is one of my specialities.

I have wide experience translating literature (from Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian and Hungarian) into Galician for more than 10 years. It is a proof of my creativity. Furthermore, I have held two positions as coordinator: in charge of Latin American Projects for the ICMP being and responsible for the Center for Galician Studies at the Freie Universität in Berlin. Hence, I have experience managing multilingual and multicultural groups as well as international projects.
