I have been working as a freelance translator since my graduation in 2014, translating a wide range of texts from Italian and French into English.
I have translated a biography of Primo Levi, 'Echi di una voce perduta' (Poli, G.& Calcagno, G., 1992, Mursia), which will be published as 'Echoes of a Lost Voice' by Vallentine-Mitchell in April 2017. An article on my experience translating the book will appear in the next issue of the Translators' Association journal 'In Other Words'.
In 2016 I secured an MA with Merit in Literary Translation from the University of East Anglia, England, with a dissertation on my translation of 'Echi di una voce perduta'. In 2014 I gained a 1st Class languages degree from Lancaster University.
Pricing / Other services
My standard price for literary or publishing translation is the Translators' Association recommended rate of £0.09. For other types of translation I charge a default rate of £0.08 per word.
