My comment:

The source is odd and easily misinterpreted, I think. The term "imperial measurements" has probably been used (wrongly) as a general term for anything that isn't metric, e.g. US American measurements. So the sense is: The website must be adapted FROM metric TO non-metric. The metric system has now been widely adopted in the UK. The American non-metric system is similar, but certainly not identical to the imperial system, see Wikipedia.
