Harrap's & Collins dictionaries: plural "loins" = reins (the small of the back/lumbar area)

would offer a neat play on words with the use of 'take out' to mean destroy a target with a bomb or missile

English speakers don't talk about kidneys very much. It's a very French seme: j'ai mal au reins=my lower back hurts.
