Hi Barbara. I hesitated before entering the above entry as I was wondering whether "coup de chef" should be interpreted as "coup de maître" (masterstroke). However, in such a case the French sentence should be "C'est un coup de chef ce que tu lui as fait à ce fils de pute" So not sure. :-)

I'd restructure the sentence entirely to get the idea across, but that's just one method...
