Cybernetic contests

My comment:

Although one may think of cyberspace there is such a thing as cybernetics, a concept that was introduced in the field of psychology many years ago.

ciber-contests/online contests/computer contests

My comment:

I think you should choose the widest option, as no further description is given about these "games."
I first thought of something similar to a "lan party," but then I thought it may be an online questionnaire within a special group in a social network for instance, or on a newspaper/t.v. programme/etc. website or blog; it could even be a contest of an online game (meaning Counter or Unreal or some other videogame) for gamers or players, or a photography/literature/cooking contest where internet is somehow involved, in the organization or in the way you participate.
I hope I'm helping and not getting you confused! :p

Yes, cyber simply means you are online or using the internet. Cyber competitions are created to inspire high school students. You can google it for more information.
