"Fortbestand" entspricht zwar der genauen Übersetzung, würde der Vertrag allerdings originär in Deutsch verfasst, würde man eher "Geltungsdauer" verwenden (meine Meinung)

Oder könnte es im weitesten Sinne von "override" gemeint sein?
Das wäre dann eben "hat für jegliche Kommunikation Vorrang vor (...beispielsweise mündliche Absprachen, Nebenabreden?)".

es ist korrekt, man spricht auch von survival of a contract, d.h. der Fortbestand des Vertrags
