I think it is the best suited translation in the context. The usual phrase is "état de ressource" = État intérieur qui s'actualise dans un comportement extérieur adapté à l'objectif recherché.

to put people in a productive state that involves "letting go" (of their egos), relaxing, and being highly alert to the intention of the session. I wouldn't bother with relâchement as it means "letting go" too.
