The blood of Jesus is precious, because it is superior to all other kinds of blood. There are many other kinds of blood the bible speaks of. But none of these has any power to save, heal or deliver anyone. Have you ever heard of anyone’s blood being able to wash sins away? Never! Nothing can wash away our sins except the blood of Jesus Christ. Notice several different kinds of blood that the bible speaks about. None of these can compare with the blood of Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God which taketh away the sins of the whole world.
Other people’s blood may have a message and may have some power. The blood of Abel, for instance, spoke of murder and cried for revenge. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel” (Hebrews 12:24). But the blood of Jesus Christ spoke about better things and had a far greater power.
