English > German: Freelancers Needed - Financial Material (Ongoing)
A professional translation service provider is looking for qualified English into German translators, with experience in Machine Translation (MT) Post Editing, interested in long term freelance collaboration and willing to join our network of certified linguists. We’re looking for candidates experienced in Financial and Marketing translations.
We regularly receive MT projects from Business-oriented clients and hope to set a team of linguists for these accounts. We already have all the materials and engines to make sure our MT output is good. Translators would work closely with our project managers and language managers to continue to train the MT engines and make sure the quality of the MT output keeps on improving.
Linguists partnering with us will participate in a exciting project and will receive some training that can afterwards be applied to other projects.
Applicants must:
• Be a native speaker of German
• Have experience in Machine Translation Post editing – Or be interested in learning more about MTPE, this is a good opportunity!
• Have a college degree and 2 years translation experience OR advanced degree and 1 year translation experience OR 5 years of translation experience.
• Produce documented proof of educational background
• Document practical/translation experience in his/her area of expertise
• Provide references
