Being educated in a trilingual environment at the German/European Humboldt-School located in San José, Costa Rica, enabled me to fully comprehend the different nuances of texts and expressions in German, English and Spanish. Hence, I am able to translate literary texts accurately, keeping the sentiment intended by the author.
I am also familiar with the jargon employed in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics in these three languages. The latter accounts for more accurate and efficient translations in these fields.
I worked as an interpreter for international events held in Costa Rica in 2001 and 2002, and I have also done translation jobs during the past 5 years for The International Cat Association based in Texas, USA, as well as for a regional (Central American) magazine.
