I am a senior English-to-Spanish localization specialist with over 12 years of experience managing complex, high-stakes projects for the pharmaceutical, medical, and engineering sectors. My work has involved not only translation but also expert-level linguistic quality assurance (QA) and high-quality Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE), ensuring 100% terminological and technical accuracy.

I am an expert user of the complete localization tech stack, including Trados Studio, MemoQ, Xbench, and Passolo.

As the industry transforms, I am actively evolving my skills to meet new technical demands. I am currently integrating programming and automation into my linguistic expertise. My active development areas include:

- Python: Developing scripts to automate QA workflows and repetitive tasks.

- Git & GitHub: Managing localization projects and collaborating with development teams using version control.

- AI & Data: Training for new roles in Data Annotation for Translators to help build and refine next-generation AI models.

My goal is to leverage my unique hybrid profile—combining deep linguistic experience with new technical skills—to manage complex localization projects, particularly in the Software and Video Game industries.

I hold a Diploma in Software & Website Localization and am an accredited member of COTICH (Chilean Association of Translators and Interpreters).
