1996 - Participation in a seminary about Globalization and Development.
1998 – Participation on linguistic Concourse, celebrated at the historical University of Havana, obtaining the first place- “Golden Medal” (work presentation/ in German, Titel: “Zur Anwendung der Gestik in der heutigen Jugend” – “About the Use of Body Language in the youth ”.)
1999-2001 - Participation on one Seminary about Translation and Interpreting (Traductology) (in German, Portuguese and Spanish Languages) at the International Translation and Interpreting Institute of Havana (ESTI). Topics of the Translation: Scientist, Culture, Education, Economy, Politic, Sport, Literature, publicity and Jury.
1999 -- Participation in a Seminary about Lexicology applied (in German , Spanish and English) to the sport terms. Topic: “Origin of words” etc.
1999 – Tourism guide course and Marketing at the Travel agency “Cubanacan S.A.”, in which it included excursions to all towns of Cuba. I have a certificate of this course.
1999-2000 Methodology practice during my last year of study:
this included Spanish and Portuguese class teaching to architectures German students, where it occurred them to know grammar and Spanish and Portuguese phonetics, also communication and written understanding, cultural and geographic text hearing , and also reading and dictations.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
2001-2002 - A year as Tourist Guide Interpreter on the Travel Agency “ Cubanacan S.A.”
2002-2003 Translator teacher-Traductology (German, Spanish and Portuguese) at the University of Havana.
2002 -Main coordinator of one important Project, which took place in Havana and in Islas Canarias during November, December and January 2002-2003.
It was an intercultural project between Germany, Spain and Cuba. Mains topics were automated translation, and terminology. This project was destined fundamentally to the areas of Tourism, Culture, Informatics and Education.
