Geea (a guest user) asked this question:

Language pair:

French > English

Subject:

Medical

Level of diffculty:

Easy / medium

Word or term in question:

gastrocnémius / gastrocnémien

Context:

L’examen met en évidence un hématome de ## mm entre le gastrocnémius et l’aponévrose ...

Keywords:

...dans la partie proximale et médiane. Pas de lésions dans la partie distale entre le gastrocnémien et l’aponévrose. // Radiologie : compte rendu provisoire // Ortho : Note de suivi /// Do these two terms both just mean gastrocnemius in English? Or are they actually two different terms?

gastrocnemius

My comment:

Gastrocnemius or gastrocnémius does not exist in French. It is the right term in english and latin. Gastrocnémien is the right term in french for Gastrocnemius in English
