Malay > English: Urgent Translation of the transcription of a conversation approx. 1000 words
We have an urgent requirement for two Malay to English translators to join our team of translators, for a request from the Government of the United Kingdom.
We have approximately 1000 words that must be translated from Malay into English, after which a review must be carried out. We require the translation by the close of business on Friday 9th January so that it may be reviewed by the next week.
The material is a transcription of a conversation, so it is of no particular speciality. However, it is related to a sensitive legal situation so the translators will be obliged to sign a Witness Statement for the work they produce.
In exchange, we would like to retain the successful candidate's services for future Malaysian English translation work. They will be UK-based, English mother-tongue, with at least three years experience working in translation, and interested in new and challenging material supplied by a national government.
