Chinese > English: Video Game translators needed
Job Description:
Translate content for a video game. This position may be held on a freelance basis. The average output should be translation of 2500 Chinese characters per day (without daily delivery). The source text will be Traditional Mandarin. We are looking for translators who are willing to work with us on a long-term basis.
Requirements:
You must have strong grammar skills in your native language US English.
You should be a computer literate and an avid gamer (fantasy world).
You must be used with PC terminology.
Applicants must have a strong comprehension of the Chinese language and must be well versed in American and native-language slang, colloquial expressions and gaming protocols.
Use of CAT tools is a big plus.
