English > Slovenian: Medical freelance translators with Trados required
We are looking for English to Slovene medical freelancers to work for our largest client, a very well known multi-national organisation who is a Global leader in several Industrial and Commercial sectors, for which we translate extremely regular volumes of work in the field of Medicine, Medical Equipment and Clinical Trials.
We have recently been chosen as the preferred supplier for this client which means that volumes received in all language combinations will multiply by ten. To give you an idea of what this will mean, in the last year we have translated over six million words for this client, which means that this will increase to approximately 60 million in 2009 - this will result in our business expanding dramatically.
Our current need requires Slovene mother tongue speakers who have at least 3 years full-time translation experience and extensive translation experience in the fields of Medicine, especially Cardiology, Vascular, Medical Imaging, Nephrology etc. Trados 6.5 or above is also required for this task.
Translators are required to complete a test piece to be approved by the client before starting work on these ongoing projects.
If you are interested and available, please include a copy of your CV, relevant medical experience and rates of translation.
