English > European Spanish: Native Spanish Translator (Short Term IN-HOUSE Contract) needed in Berlin (Germany)

Anakan GmbH is looking for highly motivated and experienced Native European Spanish translators in-house for August in our office in Berlin.

Anakan is offering localization, dubbing, testing and development services to key players of the worldwide gaming industry in many languages such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Brazilian, UK & US, Dutch, Nordic languages, Greek, Russian, Polish, Hungarian, Czech, Japanese and Chinese.
Our services include:
- Translation: Coordination, In-game text, manuals, scripts
- Testing: Localization testing, functionality testing, compliance testing
- Audio: Pre/post production, multinlingual voice over
- DTP: text-flow, layout, font management
- Creative media, including demos, trailers and advertising materials
Anakan is a registered Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo developers.

Special requirements:

To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
-Excellent writing and proofreading skills in English
-Able to follow our metrics of 3.000 words of translation per day for a high quality of work
-You must have strong grammar skills in your native language

-Be computer literate

-Be an avid gamer with online and/or offline games

-Be a detail-oriented and flexible team player who is self-motivated, responsible, hard-working, innovative, dedicated and deadline-oriented

-Be familiar with all consoles/PC TCR terminology
Understanding of and desire to work in the gaming industry
