Extending DataBase of our translators
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to extend our DataBase of professional, high quality native English translators. The source language could be any, but the target language is always English. Please note that it must be proper English - not the translation produced by a machine but the job done by a highly skillful native translator who does have an excellent feel for the language. So, please do not waste your own and our time, if you cannot deliver what we expect; in other words, the translation delivered by you must NOT require any further proofreading or editing and it shall be ready for publication.
Please send us your CV with emphasis on the following information:
(a) your working languages (where you can guarantee the high quality of your work);
(b) areas of your specialization and your professional qualifications / experience in the fields other than translation (if any), e.g. engineer, scientist, medical doctor, lawyer, etc.;
(c) number of years you have worked as a professional translator and as a professional in other important fields (as listed above);
(d) your CAT and DTP software;
(e) your output in a number of words per day;
(f) whether or not you can be accessed via Skype and/or SMS.
Please also send us some sample of your translation into English.
Please indicate your rates in USD per 1000 source words, however please note that our budget is always tight, and we will not be able to pay you more than 50 USD per 1000 words. If you are really good in English translations and your bidding is within our budget, we will be happy to include you in the team of our preferential translators, regardless of your language pair(s).
