Railway/maritime engineering

For a tender we are looking for freelance translators that are specialized in maritime or railway engineering.

If the application will be accepted there will be established a framework contract of a duration of one year.

Specifications:
Each translator/reviser involved in the project must comply with the minimum level of qualification and experience requirements described below (the same requirements for the railway engineering as well):

Minimum requirements:
Either Profile 1:
A university degree or equivalent qualification** in maritime engineering and related fields PLUS translation experience*** in the language combination for which the bid is made equivalent to at least 750 standard pages (1000 pages equals one year’s full-time work); (one standard page = 1,500 characters, excluding spaces).
Or Profile 2:
A university level degree or equivalent qualification** in translation PLUS evidence of specialisation in engineering PLUS translation experience*** in the language combination for which the bid is made equivalent to at least 1000 standard pages, (or one year’s full-time work) of which at least 500 pages in the maritime field3; (one standard page = 1,500 characters, excluding spaces).
Or Profile 3:
A university level degree or equivalent qualification** in any discipline PLUS translation experience*** in the language combination for which the bid is made equivalent to at least 750 standard pages (1000 pages equals one year’s full-time work) in the maritime field3; (one standard page = 1,500 characters, excluding spaces).
For an application translators must submit:
Photocopies of all diplomas or certificates to be taken into consideration
+
Attestation as regards experience (Invoices, letters of reference, etc.) to be taken into consideration
+ a CV (there is a draft CV, so please contact me to submit this)
