Spanish > English: Novel, historical, venezuelan slang, 265 pages
This is a novel mixing fiction with real historical contemporary events. The action occurs in Venezuela.
The translator must be familiar with Venezuelan slang and be able to put such slang in the same socio-economic contect (language) into the English language.
The project has aprox. 265pages when typed on letter size paper double space, new roman, 12.
The translator must have frequent communication with author, who will be very involved.
The translator must have an editor as well, so that the grammar, linguistic, etc of the translation comes back in excellent condition.
Please provide resume, example of your work if available, your fees, estimated time to complete as well as a short background.
If translator is hispanic, please indicate how he/she learn English and if there was any academic training in English literature, or related...
If translator is not hispanic, please indicate how they learned Spanish and in what spanish-speaking country they ever reside if any.
