English > Russian: Website of an annual award programme, 4,500 words
The text to be translated is the whole website of a merit award programme. It does not require specialised knowledge in any technical field as could be seen from the sample text provided.
The website already exists and live, in English.
Total number of words: 4500
Example of text:
The process of European integration is being achieved one stone at a time.
Progress in this direction is assured daily by many enthusiastic optimists. A lot of the heroes have passed away and several of them that are still actively at work receive less recognition than they truly deserve. They are found in different spheres and walks of life - in politics, in academics, in research, in business, in philanthropies, in pressure groups, in private and public services, and even as students.
We believe that the time has come for efforts to be made both at the European Union (and indeed at the wider international) level to show recognition and appreciation to those who work silently behind the scene, and between the machines that are steadily making European integration a reality.
This is an annual merit award aimed to support this effort. It rewards individuals, organisations and projects that are considered as deserving of recognition and merits on the basis of their contributions to the process of European integration in one form or another.
