I have a large translation project DE->EN (UK) for a simulation software program. It is used to model production plants in the automotive sector. The overall text volume is approx. 135,000 words, 20,000 of which have been done. The final deadline is the beginning of February, but I am looking for someone to take on up to 20,000 words by next Monday (ist November). Around 1/3 are repetitions. I would provide the translation memory for the first 20,000 words and any updates, glossary etc. I will also proofread the translation once completed to ensure the terminology etc. is in line with the translation so far. If the first batch goes well, I am looking to pass on more of the remaining 80k words to be translated in two further stages, with the final deadline at the end of January/beginning of February 2011.
