Swedish > English: IT project for weekend, 6500 words (first lot) + regular work subsequently
Hello,
We are India's leading translation company. We possess over 2500 dictionaries
in 30 plus languages (inc. several specialist dictionaries in Swedish). We distribute SDL Trados.
We have a large and urgent translation project (Swedish into English) to be done over the
weekend. This relates to IT domain We require the service of native translators with prior proven experience in translating IT documents. Pl. send your resume and most competitive rates. Pl. mention the domains in which you specialise in the email header (Example:
IT/Telecom/Technical/Medical/Legal/Patents/Automotive/Finance etc.)
Volume: 6500 words (first lot)
Delivery schedule: 3500 words (can be split amongst two translators) required by 4 AM GMT Saturday 8th. Balance can be delivered any time on Sunday 9th January.
Sample: One page sample is to be done today. We will evaluate the sample translation immediately and assign the project by today.
Rate: As this is our first project for a new
large client, they wish to pay a lower rate for this project. After checking our quality they will pay a higher rate subsequently. Hence we can pay $ 0.05/source word for this lot.
Payment: As the rate is rather low, we will pay within a week by Paypal. For subsequent projects, standard payment term of 30 days would be applicable.

Trados: Trados to be used for all projects, if possible.
Frequency of Swedish projects: 2-3 per month
Glossary: Glossary will be compiled as the project advances.
