Request for translation quotes from translation agencies
Sought after Partner for repetitive translation requests (European languages, Radio /Navigation context)
Sought after long time partner for repetitive translation requests for short expressions / messages in the Radio / Navigation context, e.g.
- Displayed message / status in Display
- Commands for a Voice recognition system
- Prompts given by the system
Source language is English and target languages are currently 9 European languages:
- French
- Spanish
- Italian
- Dutch
- Swedish
- Danish
- Portuguese
- Polish
- Russian
and in the future also
- Slovak
- Czech
- Turkish
The agency should provide an offer considering the following requested aspects:
- Each translation task should be quoted and then completed within 3 business days after the order is given
- Consistency of used words/expression between existing and new translations for the same project should be guaranteed
- Build up database for frequently used abbreviations because some strings are limited in length
- Build up database for exceptions (e.g. expressions which should not be translated but kept in English)
- Flexibility to handle small as well as larger translation tasks (sometimes it is required to translate only a small number of expressions)
- Single invoice for complete translation task, not for each individual language
