I want to ask my girlfriend's father for her hand in marriage. He is from Tajikistan, so he is old fashioned, and he isn't inclined to say yes. I want someone who can speak good russian, and if they have advice for better wording to make this sound better, please give it. I will be delivering this speech to him, and I want to to be perfect. It's about 250 - 300 words. I am on a deadline, I need to have this speech prepared before the weekend so I can practice next week. I'm going to see her next weekend. This should be a persuasive speech, but not oversold like a used car.
