RTU440 is designed as a cost effective remote control and alert system. It monitors up to 4 digital inputs and 4 drivable relay outputs. A user-defined SMS message is sent to pre-configured mobile phone numbers when a pre-defined alarm condition happens. These pre-configured mobile phone numbers can belong to technicians or engineers who are responsible in handling the corresponding alarms. With the aid of this GSM Controller, the alarm condition brings attention to in-charge personnel immediately. Besides it allows those mobile phone users to trigger any relay output by using SMS. The output can be connected with alarm indication devices, such as sirens and others.
There is a built-in microprocessor chip, based in a real-time operating system. It gives immediate response to any change of both inputs and outputs conditions. A GSM modem is embedded in the GSM Controller. The GSM Controller can be installed in any location under GSM coverage.
