English > Polish: Medical translator needed

Centrum Lokalizacji C&M, a company operating in the field software localization and technical translations, is looking for professional medical translators specializing in the Polish/English language pair.

REQUIREMENTS:

• a master's degree in medicine, life sciences or philology
• good command of medical terminology, especially in the field of cardiology, surgery, orthopedics, radiology, gynecology, neurology, biochemistry, biophysics, genetics, microbiology and chemical analysis
• fluent English
• fluent Polish
• very good knowledge and own copy of SDL Trados (2007 or higher)
• at least one year's experience in medical and/or life science translation
• advanced computer and Internet skills
• ability to work under time pressure
• punctuality, reliability, commitment

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (AN ADVANTAGE):

• knowledge of other CAT tools (Star Transit, Passolo, IBM Translation Manager, Idiom, etc.)
• knowledge of medical and/or life science translation process
• references from other translation agencies or end customers
• command of other languages
