Potential request for consecutive interpretation quotes from freelance translators (no agencies please)

English > Spanish: Part time AUSTIN Spanish interpreters/translators for legal hearings

Part time on as-needed basis: Spanish interpreters/translators for legal hearings in the timeframe of September 2011 through approximately August 2012.
Hearings are often conducted via conference calls; however, some are conducted in person and may require travel.
Candidates must:
- be available for scheduled hearings 2 weeks in advance
- be available 10 minutes in advance for some calls
- be able to confirm the above availability in writing
- have their own telecommunications equipment (a phone and fax number are desirable)
Other imperative qualifications:
- Candidates must be familiar with legal and administrative technical terms.
- Candidates are preferred to have experience in administrative hearings, court hearings, or unemployment insurance hearings.
- Candidates must have passed and must send proof of passing the Spanish certification exam and/or the Certificate from the Administrative Office of the US Courts.

Travel expenses out of the area will be reimbursed at cost
We reserve the right to cancel any interpreter/translator within 48 hours prior to a scheduled hearing date.
Please reply to this post with resumes, hourly rate for interpreting, and proof of certification from the Administrative Office of the US Courts.
