Potential request for translation quotes from freelance translators / translation agencies
English > Danish: Professional technical translators needed
I am a lead Project Coordinator for an ongoing client project (account of over 10 years). We are in need of professional technical translators from English into Danish. The project involves translation and approval process of data sheets used for marketing of lubricants and specialty products in the industrial, automotive, aviation, and marine areas. All translations of the data sheets are sent to client for approval and once approved are posted online on the client’s website. The client for this project is one of the world's largest publicly traded international oil and gas companies who operates its facilities or markets its products in most of the world’s countries and explores for oil and natural gas on six continents. The documents for this client are usually small (2-3 pages) or simply minor incorporation of changes; the deadlines are very flexible (2-3 days or more for translation of a 2-3 page document). Potential candidates must be native Danish speakers (preferably located in Denmark) with technical and translation background. Candidates will be given a sample translation which will be then sent to the client for approval upon completion. Subject to client approval, there will be two translators selected for this project who will share the workload.
