I'm inquiring about official translations of documents from American English to Brazilian Portuguese pertaining to applications for marriage and permanent residency in Brazil. This will entail translations of birth, marriage and death certificates, passport pages, affidavit of marital status and criminal records search. Knowing we can not control the transit time for shipment of these documents, how long is your service time and what are your document translation and notarization costs per document or page. Also, how do I know you are an official or certified translator, and how do you guarantee your translations. Please forgive me... this official translation business is new to me and I have much to learn, so hope you are not impatient with me for all my questions and seeming ignorance.
