Huntington’s article “The Clash of Civilizations?” have caused so much ink to be spilled in a full-blown academic debate that it boggles the mind. And then it was one written word in passionate refutation of another. The running debate became so intense that it spilled far beyond academia into soul-searching about foreign policy, immigration, democracy, and so on.
