French > Japanese: Looking for certified Japanese native translators for localization of a website

**NO AGENCIES/PROVIDERS PLEASE**
Our client is looking for a French to Japanese expert to help localize his website. There is no deadline as such and volume is under 10 pages of A4 text about Japan.

Requirements from Translators

Language skills

As a professional translator, you know that speaking a language is not enough to produce professional translations. We ONLY work with certified translators who meet the following two compulsory requirements:

Translators must hold a university degree in translation, a MA or PhD in the source languages or have passed their ATA tests.* You will need to supply scanned documents showing your translation skills and/or their translated version in ENGLISH for each language that you select to work in. Sample translations, CVs and recommendation letters will not be accepted as proof of your competency.
Translators must enter ONLY their their native language(s) as target language(s). We don’t admit translators to work into a language that’s not their mother tongue. You will need to upload a scanned copy of your identification document to prove your mother tongue is the one provided.
*For rare language pairs, we may take into account other documentation.

Practice project

Before you start working on live projects, we request that you do a quick practice project. The purpose is not to test your language skills, but to help you get acquainted with the translation system.

The practice project contains two pages and very little text. It usually takes about 15 minutes to complete. During your work on the practice project, a staff member is available to guide you through the system.

Language pair(s)

French > Japanese
Native language: Japanese
